I don’t know if this the best Transformers cosplay ever or the ugliest Bumblebee costume I have ever seen. He looks like a baby Bumblebee or an Autobot with growth issues.  I don’t get the silver jockstrap though. On the finer side of things he managed to fit a boombox on the hood at least he sounds a bit like Bumblebee(minus the fact that he was talking to people). Video after the break.

5800 Navigation Edition Announced

With the onslaught of GPS-Celphone combos coming soon, Nokia will release a  rebranded 5800 XpressMusic and named it 5800 Navigation Edition. Instead of having free music it will be preloaded with Ovi Maps and lifetime licenses for voice guided driving and walking directions. I cannot comprehend why Nokia came up with this thing, as if the 5800 XpressMusic could not do that stuff before(aside from the free licenses).  Below is a clip about the 5800 Navigation Edition.

A PMP with a projector!

Yinlips, a Shenzen based company is currently brewing a PMP with a projector. The projector will have a viewing area of 80”. It also features a 2.5 inch screen and can play 64bit games. I hope this baby reaches our shores. Hmmm I like!

PS3 Slim is a Go!

The slim PSP will be 32% smaller and 36% lighter than the regular PlayStation and will use 34% less power. It will also ditch the standard 80 Gig of HDD and replace it with a 120 Gig HDD. The PS3 slim will be sold on September and will retail at $300.

A look at iXP and MyPhone

The MyPhone app for Symbian and Blackberry phones are all the rave these past couple of days because it allows the users to have an iphone interface for thier phones. The iXP in turn gives the Symbian s60 5th edition users a clone of the Windows XP interface. There is only one catch, both of them are just app launchers that uses the phone’s flash player but thats not stopping you from trying it.

Ressurect That EEE PC 701

I know that the ASUS EEE PC 701 is the father of all netbooks and using it now is passe but hey if its not broken it is still useful. I have reinstalled and optimized my 701 using several tutorials available on the web and now the old EEE purrs like a kitten(not literaly though).  I plan on using it for casual internet browsing, word processing and presentations.
