The entire kit costs only PhP4,500, and Internet access costs only PhP10 for every 30 minutes. Better than the Ipad

I know Apple just released the Ipad. I know its a sure fire kindle killer but would you pay more than $500 for an oversized Ipod touch? I wont. I have been browsing around and stumbled upon the Archos 9 and I would love to have one. Why? because it runs Windows 7 and not Iphone OS. I would have loved the Ipad if it came with OSX and not some portable OS. I am sure the Archos 9 is not designed to compete against the Ipad but is priced at around $500 which is almost the same amount as an Ipad. Continue reading

Ressurect That EEE PC 701

I know that the ASUS EEE PC 701 is the father of all netbooks and using it now is passe but hey if its not broken it is still useful. I have reinstalled and optimized my 701 using several tutorials available on the web and now the old EEE purrs like a kitten(not literaly though).  I plan on using it for casual internet browsing, word processing and presentations.
