I have used several cases for my Galaxy S2 but they were all made of plastic and rubber which tended to attract dust which is a major annoyance. I scoured the web for decent cases and stumbled upon this case. I also read xda dev’s forum and found some favorable feedback from people who bought the said case.
It took about 2 weeks for the case to arrive and the packaging was pretty decent. There are 6 screws in the case but they have provided 2 extra just in case you lost some of the miniscule screws. It comes with rubber tape to put on the inside of the case to prevent the phone from moving inside the case.
The case gives the phone some additional girth but its a well needed bulk that provides better grip( but the aluminum bumpers for iPhones looks more ergonomic). The added weight may also be an issue but it gives the phone addition sturdiness. In the looks department it gives the phone a more industrial look which i prefer.The Gun Metal color is nice and it seems that the finish of the case came from automotive paints( which gives added gloss).
The case gives adequate protection for the sides and the lower back of the case but leaves the battery door open to fend off against the elements. That gives the user accessibility to change batteries but may pose some threats to damage in case the phone falls down. All the ports are accounted for and all of them are useable.
The Taurus case is a nice case for people to give their phone a nice look but its a tad masculine for the ladies.
