Smart Bro SurfTV comes in a boxed set complete with a keyboard, a mouse, a remote control, and a Smart Bro USB stick-type modem with a prepaid SIM, pre-loaded with PhP100 worth of load. The entire kit costs only PhP4,500, and Internet access costs only PhP10 for every 30 minutes. Load for the prepaid Smart Bro SIM is available through any of SMART’s network of over a million Smart Load sellers all over the country.

Puma, a global sports brand has partnered with Sagem to release a phone within the 2nd quarter of this year. The phone has a built in solar charger at the back.  The UI is very useful yet minimalistic. The phone is cramped with features( see technical specs below). The phone is perfect for the sporty types yet it also appeals to the environmentally inclined.

Windows 7 Update will purge unwanted copies

Due to the onslaught of pirated copies of the ever popular Windows 7 OS, Microsoft will put up an update within a couple of days. The update will be a voluntary update and a user will have the freedom to update of not.

According to studies, a large percentage of downloaded activators and loaders contain malware that pose a threat to privacy. The update will remove most known Windows activators.

Me Want To Get A ‘Droid Phone Now!

I know that there are several Android phones out there. Motorola revitalized  their dying phone line by launching several Android phones. After seeing this Super Bowl ad for the Motorola Devour I can’t help but be a victim of commercials. I can’t help but be mesmerized by the thought of Megan Fox sending me pictures from the Devour. Hmmm Sex always sells damn!

Up the ante when you do facebook

Everybody is doing the facebook thing nowadays and its not perfect. There are several Facebook clients available but they are not as smashing as Fishbowl and the Microsoft Silverlight Facebook client. The Fishbowl is not as gorgeous as the Silverlight app but its Taylor Swift cute. Fishbowl offers Facebook chat though(the Silverlight app does not). Both apps are useful and will serve as a standalone client for Facebook without the need for a web browser. The Silverlight app loads faster than the Fishbowl.

A new ISP lurks in our midst

A lot of us are complaining on how our ISP sucks. Shifting on another network is like guesswork because all of us have complains about our respective ISPs. I was reading the newspaper this morning and read about a partnership between San Miguel Corporation and QTel Group and it is called Wi-Tribe. Wi-Tribe is also available in other countries. The company promises to deliver 4G broadband to the country and all the 4G related services. I just hope it does not bring all the hassles and weaknesses of wired and wireless broadband services.
