The 5800 has a resistive touch screen. What does that mean? Multi touch doesn’t usually work. On the contrary Jamie Fuler has managed to do some multi-touch magic on the 5800. No Apple wizardry but this is still a nice proof of concept.
Ever since I got my 5800 I have been scouring the web for Symbian Series 60 V5 applications. The funny thing is I found these nifty apps from different Nokia sites. The thing is different countries have different apps for you to download. I found 2 countries that offer free full applications Nokia India and Hong Kong. Links and details after the break.
My phone gave up on me! Drat what a disaster. I was forced to buy a new one. I got a Nokia 5800. Why? Beats me! I sometimes just buy stuff. Ummm I’d rather not talk about that but what is good about the Nokia 5800 is that it has wifi! And this app is the first thing that I put in it. Fring is one of the best messenger app for any phone OS. Heck! If the phone can support java I think they have support for it. Fring supports YM, AIM and other major instant messengers. Skype is also supported.
